Bob Dylan's words with Jeff Buckley's ridiculously beautiful voice is a potent combination that is capable of stopping you in your tracks...I know, its happened to me multiple times.

Here is a splendid version of the classic Dylan song done by Jeff Buckley from the "Live at Sin-e." This revitalized my interest of the song and reawakened a new way that the song could be viewed.

Even Simon, who said it's one of favorite songs, said it was "BRILLIANT!" Hm... MORE
So some dreadlocked guy sings Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" the other night on American Idol, and Randy and Simon rattle on about how they love Jeff Buckley's version, and just like that, the Buckley track jumps out of nowhere to #4 on the iTunes chart, which is the first time Jeff's music has been in any top 10 in the U.S. (I'm pretty sure). We live in an odd world. You've heard and seen Jeff sing this song a bajillion times, but it never ceases to be riveting. He used t... MORE
i remember reading about Jeff Buckley's untimely death in Rolling Stone. i had only heard a few songs at that point, none of which really struck a chord with me. since then, a good friend of mine has really introduced me to his music. it only took like 2 songs to really reel me in. you know how it is when you're going through something in your life and one song will speak volumes for you. "Be Your Husband" was not that song, but it has become one of my favorite songs o... MORE
