Weezer

I can't say that all the albums after Pinkerton is completely useless- all of them seem to exist just to strengthen the blue album (not that it needs any). Don't get me wrong, there are a few gem nuggets tucked in here and there. and I do continue to support weezer and its creativity (from Buddy Holly's video to their newest Pork & Beans). I can say that I will continue to listen to their future albums very hopefully, but with tired faith.... MORE

Back in March Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo took to the Internet in hopes of recording a new tune. Cuomo's plan: create a song generated by fan input via YouTube video responses. Starting the project off Cuomo's shed some knowledge like there are "99 ways to write a song," (and the bitch ain't one?) and that he wanted the tune to be "fun, poppy and tough at the same time."

Pretty fun... Weezer (and more), Creep

Just beautiful. Rivers and the gang stepped up and made me forget that Make Believe was even released. As my good buddies officeglenn and Lamicus pointed out, Weezer released a Queen album. The Red Album is out. I haven't bought it yet (disadvantages of unemployment include no money to purchase the album and no computer of my own to download it onto), but I've been listening to all the tracks I can find on the Hype Machine, which, so far, is most of the album. So, Rivers Cuomo has grown a mustache, and all of a sudden, he thinks he's Freddie Mercury.
