I've got real interested how some singers really get 'in-to' the song, so much so, you think they will just walk off stage at the end of the song, or possibly collapse. Here are a couple of my faves.

Anastacia, performing, I ask of you

and Portishead with Beth Orton performing Roads.

but maybe it's just the black shining leather in the first song that does it. No Rob don't do it, it will ruin the post....

...couldn't resist, hey I'm just so fluffy...not...

Hey, nice speedos, Vrangsinn.

...that's why there's so much bottled water, and fresh fruit, and towels, and what not backstage - unless of course, you're unfortunate enough to be Tap, at a "really cranky university" down south...

Must admit to being a bit dissapointed by the tracks I've now heard off the new Priest album Nostradamus, it's not that there is anything wrong as such I just don't get the same rush I used to with Priest stuff. However, with this particular blast from the past I do. Hey it's not a Priest track, I know, but IMHO it's the best thing that Rob Halford has ever done. Nail it Rob!!

Sig sauer. Victim of a system's non-control
Devour, striking terror into every soul

Communication breakdown onto self destruction
Schizophrenic people breeding hate

Pessimistic thinking from a failed connection
Survival comes when we annihilate

Nailed to the gun
Nailed to the gun

Paranoia, termination sickness zero's good
Blind power, executing humans in cold blood

Degenerating children with an opiated bullet
Poison flows from words out on the street
Trapped inside the home that has become the prison
Dissin' everybody that we meet

Nailed to the gun
Nailed to the gun

Locked and loaded, governmental lost to anarchy
Weapon goaded, magnum is gagging liberty

Cultural collision in an endless frenzy
Numbing minds with threats of violence

Hopeless to the dream of any decent future
Running on sheer fear and ignorance

Nailed to the gun
Nailed to the gun

Much more prophetic than Nostradamus. Should have stuck with the fight, Rob.

You beat me to beat me to reviewing the new Priet. I only sampled it at a music section at FRYS. Your right there'a nothing bad about this one. I liked what I heard, but I can see them at this point like AC\DC making the same album from here on. I never heard enough Fight, but I always dug what I heard. This is a great sound, I think there are to many Death Metal bands today . Don't get me wrong there are some great one's.

I always say metal is the new Jazz...

I hadn't heard anything by Fight. Really nice hardcore influence, then the metal cranks up, and yet it doesn't sound anything like today's metalcore!
