...were pretty good last week at Bimbo's, but Jack White is such a genius I guess I expect more from him and his band(s). While I like the new Raconteurs record a lot, it wears it's influences a bit more nakedly than I'd like, and live those influences were all I could hear.
Damn those high expectations.
That said, "Salute Your Salution" (which I like to call "Blue Orchid II") was a serious highlight.
