Heaven help me, back in the day, when I was 14, right after Berlin's album "Pleasure Victim" came out, I had such a thing for Terri Nunn, their vocalist. I broke at least one copy of that cassette from playing it so much. Maybe it was the lyrics that made it plain that she was, umm, easy. Maybe it was the mix of synthesizers with a touch of guitar that made my head spin. Maybe it was her high and light-as-a-feather vocals, before she discovered vocal coaches and really... MORE
One of my sister's favorite 80s New Wave bands. The only song I knew of by Berlin when I was a kid in the 80s was Take My Breath Away, it wasnt til many years later that I heard their other stuff.
This is a _+twofer+_ cuz the one song is the epitome of cool video & just all around great song structure (METRO); but for the more obscure selection, more controversial; &, I am nothing if not embroiled in controversy: Sex (I'm a...) ;P METRO Sex (I'm a...) Not that the song, (Take My Breath Away) is yicko - it's not, but there will be no reference (lest it be to Goose or Iceman... or more recently added to the fold...

last for the night the song that got banned for its suggestive lyrics....Sex from berlin. strangely enuff as a kid growing up in the OC i never knew they were from around the block...my sister mentioned that one of her girl friends went out with the keyboard player in junior high...
This song will take you back to the 80s if you were ever there . Although I like their song sex better I thought this was a bit more tame for here. Plus I did not know if they allowed bad languge to be on here
So, yesterday, Tiffany had to turn in a paper to the English department, and as we were going to where she had to turn it in, we passed R-V's office. Of course, I suggested we knock and see if he was there, because he was a really great English professor. She agreed, so we dropped off her paper and went back. We knocked.
