I'm not even slightly ashamed about that. There are certain labels (Astralwerks, Ghostly International, etc ) that have proved themselves as being more than a label, they are a brand that equals quality .
So, that sa... MORE

Lucky it was his left eye.
Today we were watching Almost Famous OnDemand. I've had Bowie's live cover in my head since we watched the scene when William's sister, Zoey Deschanel, played the original for her mother, Frances McDormand, as the reason she was leaving home. I wanted to post this Bowie song just because I really love it. Not sure why but it made me think of other men songs I like. Like Robyn Hitchcock's "The Man Who Invented Himself". I noticed that there's quite a large number of "The Man With The (insert descriptive word or phrase here)" songs. I think there's probably enough for a whole mix cd. Whether or not this would be a good mix I don't know. Here's what I got so far: Robyn Hitchcock - The Man With The Lightbu... MORE
drinking milk shakes cold and long,
smiling and waving and looking so fine,
don't think you knew you were in this song. and it was cold, and it rained,
so I felt like an actor,
and i thought of ma,
and i wanted to get back there.
your face, your race,
the way that you talk,
i kiss you, you're beautiful,
i want you to walk." gympumpkin put me in a bowie mood recently with an elsewhere song post about life on mars, and he's stuck ... MORE
