The inaugural lineup of the San Francisco Outside Lands Festival at Golden Gate Park is online now. The dates to post on your calendar are Aug. 22-24. I was mad when I first saw that Radiohead was playing, but playing with Jack Johnson of all people, but now, with the whole lineup , I have to rethink this.

DBT's new CD, "Brighter Than Creations Dark", has just been marked as one my favorite albums. I have to say that every song on there is incredible. I definitely suggest to all of you who are debating on downloading, buying or whatever it is you do when purchasing music, get this album. It's one of those cd's that you can listen the whole way through without changing a track. I'm usually not this bold when it comes to an album but this one struck me. Anyway for your enjoy... MORE
Having now been alerted to the existence of Drive-By Truckers, I've been going through their back catalog. I tried The Dirty South next, and was especially impressed with "Where the Devil Don't Stay." Then I got Southern Rock Opera, which seems to be their magnum opus.
