So I caught Ron Sexsmith live this summer and loved his sweet, mellow numbers. He wrote the tune Secret Heart, which Feist has now made famous.
I have to say, I dig his version better than her recorded version.
But I do believe her live version delivers the knockout punch.
What a great tune, by a great songwriter.

One of the many, many bands/artists I had not listen to for being obsessed with other stuff was Feist!!! Feist looks so damn cute in this clip, performing "Secret Heart" on Last Call with Carson Daly.
As a guitarist, I tend to study other players' posture and style. I absolutely love Feist's in this video. She's loose, she's swaying, she OWNS that guitar. And maybe that's why I find her so damn cute.
