The critics have been rather vocal in the UK, 'Jay-Z is the wrong choice for headliner of this year's Glastonbury Festival.'   The issues has been one of heated debate, but recently Jay-Z fired back. When I first saw the cover of the latest issue of NME, I thought "Ok, NME...let's not get ahead of ourselves here." As Jay-Z's mock cover of Oasis' "Wonderwall" gets freshly penned in as One Of The Greatest Moments In Music History, I wasn't necessarily a believer that the rapper had reborn the music festival. Jay-Z and Kanye premiered the song in concert less than a week ago, and now the .mp3 is available for our listening pleasure. The official title of the song is "Dope Boy Fresh" but everyones already taken a liking to calling it "Jocking Jay-Z". I know a new single being released usually means that the album is near, but Jay-Z has said only 3 or 4 songs have been completed on the new project. Glastonbury organizer Michael Eavis has gone on record to say he won't book anymore controversial acts for next years festival, following Jay-Z's anchor position at this years event. Eavis is heavily leaning toward traditional acts in the future, and noted the stress from this year's event took a huge toll on him physically. Jay-Z, being the first ever hip-hop to headline Glastonbury, was subject to a fair amount of criticism, but that didn't stop the Grammy award winning rapper from coming out and giving a "world class show." Last night at Kanye's 'Glow In The Dark' show in New York City, Yeezy brought out Jay at the end of the show to debut a new song. The track is called "Jockin Jay-Z" and is produced by Kanye. Jay and Yeezy also shouted out "Blueprint 3" a few times, which confirms the title of Hove's upcoming album (barring a change of heart).

OK, I know everyone has been posting about Jay-Z's AMAZING performance at Glastonbury this weekend, but no one mentioned his unique cover of Estelle's "American Boy".
