Consider me impressed. Dachmo clued me into it. Fellow Moggers PopeyePete, Cody B continued, with some nice mixes. So with this I revive the Mog Aggregation Challenge - post a whole album with only tracks available through the internet. So, listen if you will, to one of my favorites of 2007 (discovered only in 2008): Of Montreal's Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer? xJmxPTEyMTM3MjU1MTQ2ODgmcHQ9MTIxMzcyNTUyMDU5NCZwPTE4NDMzMSZkPSZuPSZnPTE=.jpg" bor... of Montreal – Disconnect the Dots
I never understood why some artists choose such weird for their songs. Usually the ones that do happen to be good its just slightly harder for us music aficionados to remember.
I am so obsessed with Of Montreal's cover of this:
which is M.I.A.'s cover of this:
which is Parvati Khan from the movie Disco Dancer.
Actually I'm obsessed with all of them. I want to listen to them all in a row, over and over. I wanted to play them all on my radio show today - instead I decided to calm down and just play the original. Next week, though, Of Montreal.
I'll admit it, I resisted these guys (ok, this guy) at first...but holy cow, this song is amazing...really curious about how this stuff comes off live...if you have a live version of this track in particular I would love to hear it.
The internet loves this band.

In the end, I suppose it was a good thing.

Watch the recent Amsterdam gig of these Montreal Indie rockers!
Of Montreal is an American indie pop band from Florida, formed by frontman and glam rock icon Kevin Barnes. The band is named after Kevin's failed relationship in Montreal.
Of Montreal's debut album 'Cherry Peel' came out in 1997, followed by 'The Gay Parade' in 1998. 'Aldhils Arboretum' (2002) was the start of a change in their sound. It became much more danceable, structured and the use of electronica in... MORE
