I have been enjoying the recent popularity of this band (aka Wire to Wire vid/mp3) which I posted previously. This is the first live set I've seen them perform. This brought them up a few notches on my Concerts to See List!

Deep down, I had secretly hoped that Slipway Fires - Razorlight’s third album, released this week - would prove to be a mighty comeback after the let-down that was the band’s self-titled second release 2 years ago. Oh, how my hopes have been dashed. The album kicks off with current single, ‘Wire to Wire’, an easy on [...]

The fall is steep for the former TIME Magazine 'Man of the Year'. You are now hated by the embodiment of all that is good, just and chaste in music. We of course refer to musical demi-gods Razorlight and their spiritual leader Johnny Borrell.

As much as I love to hate Johnny Borrell, Razorlight’s new single is pretty darned good. And to celebrate the release of their shiny new album in November they’re back on the road.
Johnny reportedly said that “we’re playing the best venues in the country, a proper rock and roll tour. We’re going to give it [...]

Saw the new music video of this posted last week by Indiana... loved the song, but must admit.. seen a lot of great vids where the vocals/sound/visual doesnt stand up live..
Found this just now.. and it speaks for itself..
You just have to ignore the first 50 seconds of bullshit by the host of the show... but trust me... FF that and hear an great live performance...

When I was writing up this post, I was a little surprised to find out that Razorlight released their third album called Slipway Fires way back in November of 2008, but then I realized that the new album won’t actually be available in the US until January 20, 2009. Granted I thought their self titled [...]

Any British review of Razorlight’s 3 albums practically has to be taken with a grain of salt. Lead singer Johnny Borrell must have either picked a fight with every English male or had sex with every English female if some reviews are on the mark. Thankfully, yours truly is a...

But there's been a bit of Razorlight bashing over the past few days and I feel I should make up for it. So this is for all you haters out there:
A great tune, which also brings back some great memories.
Hello Moggers! I've been back for a few weeks from Ireland. So much involved with a wedding. Still trying to sort things out. It's great to be back but I think I would much rather have a life where I just traveled all the time and didn't have to worry about work and bills. Oh well. Ireland was great. Saw lots of sheep and green things. We met a lot of great people from around the world. It was quite an experience. I think if we had to chose a theme song for the t... MORE
