When it comes to posting I'm very good at something: yesterday news or just old stuff! I saw her CD the other day for $9.99. I should have bought it. Samson is one song, and this is a completely different side of this amazing artist.
I just hope I don't get the opportunity to say "contagious" anytime soon, cuz I'm certain I'll get stares as I produce the 6 syllable version.

I've bet you've heard this song (well part of it) in a commercial.

Regina Spektor collapsed 10 minutes before her show was set to begin in Tennessee Wednesday night and was rushed to the hospital. She was overcome by a sudden case of vertigo caused by an inner ear infection - OW! She was released from the hospice the same night and is currently resting. The show has been rescheduled for December 6th and will still take place at the historic Ryman Auditorium.

I like Regina Spektor. Deal with it. She just seems to like to make noise and organize it into songs. On seeing her perform I felt like I was watching someone who was truly in love with the music. It wouldn't be odd to see her slapping pieces of wood against the floor and singing lyrics about ice cream over the rhythm.

Finally! Regina Spektor is finally coming to Phoenix! I had a definite lack of funds when she came through Tucson last year, and I missed Coachella this year (although I've heard that she gets drowned out at festivals from the other stages) I'm posting one of my favorites from her - Ne Me Quitte Pas (which means 'dont leave me' in English)
