The new Dandy Courtney's is superfabulous, totally couldn't stop playing it last night....really loud!
I'm not usually a very big fan of this band, but this album is so beyond their usual, I'm just impressed enough to play it more and spread the word to my fellow moggers. Oh wait, aren't they huge in the UK? (I know, I will shut up now).
Perhaps like me, you have not given the DW's the chance they deserve? If so, you should check this song out....

After being dropped by Capitol Records a few year back, the Dandy Warhols are starting their own venture with the World's Fair Group for their next album Earth To The Dandy Warhols, due May 5th. i was re-introduced to the dandy warhols last december by a 'friend' (wink). i know this sounds completely cheesy, but i had the best sex of my life while listening to this album- it has the perfect range of tempos and tones- from moody to snappy- playful to subdued. we both agreed that the music helped us along- so to speak- and we felt like liquid. no longer like 2 human beings, more like one puddle of mercury all fluid and shiny (only way less toxic). godless is ... Earth to... is the sixth long-player from The Dandy Warhols and the first on their own label. I expect they'd tell you they've gone their own way for impenetrably cool and worthy reasons, but in truth they were unceremoniously dropped by Capitol after disappearing up their own arses and, as a whole, this album justifies that call. I have been making my way though the third season of Veronica Mars while also revisiting the second season.. I know it's a little strange.. anyway, in the past I have had more than a few people ask me what's up with the fact that I dig the show, and this is my answer... I just found a really cool 'not so new, but new to me' album that I can't stop listening to. If you are a big Dandy Warhols fan and you haven't had a chance to hear "The Black Album/Come on Feel The Dandy Warhols" you are missing out.
