RIAA escapes sanctions, drops case against homeless man

tomorrow night is opening night for the school production of "Magic Cube: the Coloured Musical!"
This piece can also be known as "we-infringed-on-so-many-types-of-copyright-I'm-surprised-we-didn't-get-sued"
Basically, we can't call it Rubik's Cube because of copyright. The general idea is to reproduce songs about colours to correspond with the many colours on a Rubik's cube. For instance: our heroine, Jade, gets a Rubik's cube for her birthday. she's sad... MORE

...I've been digging around for a lot of old stuff lately...I was jonesin' for some Ryuichi Sakamoto and got my thirst slaked with a little help from Micki and Sugarbaby (I got more RS and YMO than I know what to do with now, which ain't a bad thing)...I'd like to thank them both on the MOG tip for their due diligence and hookin' me up...for the past two days, I've been checking the Revolver LP while working as it holds one of my favorite Beatles slices, "Tomorrow Never Knows... Periodically, I am suddenly struck by a frightening realization: I've taken The Beatles for granted. Obviously this is easier to do for someone who wasn't born until 1980. But how often do I scroll right by them on my way to Beck or Billie Holiday or Bloc Party?
One solution to this problem, which I set to yesterday, was to listen to Abbey Road and Let It Be in their entireties. Another is to watch my Anthology dvd's. I'll have to get on that one.
