Christmas tunes seem to be popping up everywhere on the MOG, so I figured I'd add one as well. If there is one thing that can get me in a Christmas mood, it's the Muppets. I love them so much I even enjoy their version of A Christmas Carol, which says a lot since my theatre does Christmas Carol every year. This is our 31st year of A Christmas Carol. Peep this video of Kermit the Frog "covering" LCD Soundsystem's "New York I Love You."
In all honesty, there's always been something about Kermit's character that was so identifiable. He seemed so genuine in the delivery of his emotions. Gonzo the Great was always stressed out and high-strung but Kermit "kept it real" so to speak. Anyway, watching Kermit sing about a city that's slowly riding him hard and hanging him out to dry is extremely fitting for the Muppet charact... MORE

Well, it has been crazy the last few weeks at our house. My 21 yr old Daughter came home for a few weeks (she had been living in N. Carolina) before heading off to Navy bootcamp at Great Lakes. She brought all her belongings (and some of her messy habits) home to roost while she heads off for a new adventure. She got rear ended, on the interstate (how does that happen??!) on her way home, and made an off-the-books deal with the guy who rammed her - because filing a police ... MORE

i am bored. i have mentioned before that i have what we refer to in my family as "rattley boo". Def. : person cannot sit down or relax. Person must always be planning to do something rather than just enjoying the minute or the current activity. i have tried to promise myself that i will hang around the house today and clean, burn cds for people (i owe my brother and somebody else who will read this and know who he is), do laundry, read, knit, etc. It is not even noon... Funny coincidence, with all the muppet lovin' happening here lately, but I'm looking for the song Kermit and Fozzie Bear sing on the Muppet Movie. An earlier post clued me in to the title (Movin' not moving).
But I can't find it to download it.
Anyone able to help me?

Halfway down the stairs is a stair where I sit
