I'm really not sure what to make of Holding On To Whatever It Is , the newest release from The Waking Eyes . I mean, on one hand, it's not a particularly good album. In fact, occasionally -- like on "Boyz and Girlz ", which takes '80s worship to a painfully bad level, and on the syrupy ballad "Trouble On The Patio" -- it's downright awful.
But at the same time, it's not all bad. Or, to be more accurate, there are moments where it's not impossible to appreciate that ... MORE
