The Weepies have had two songs in commercials. One is in an Old Navy ad and the other is in a JC Penney ad. I love finding music through commercials.
This duo is a couple, and I believe they live in Cali with their child. They both sing. The woman's voice is amazing and unique. The man's is nice as well, I actually really love the tracks that he sings.
I really like this group, all the songs I know by them are good and I wouldn't doubt their cds are a good buy. This... MORE

The song in a recent JC Penny commercial caught my attention this week, so I decided to search for the band responsible. I came across The Weepies. I know. Crazy name, right? Immediately, I went in search of an album, returning with two: Say I Am You and Happiness, both of which are very good. This song stood out to me on the first pass over both albums:

I had a nice big long write up including the playlist of my latest themed CD, A Different Heartbeat, and poof there goes the internet. So I'm going to make this one a big shorter lol.
Here are your questions!
Question one: If you were going to be left on a tinny island all alone with only a cd player and THREE of your CURRENT cds, which CD's would you bring? You cannot make any new CDs but you can use mixed CDs.

well...this is a boring day...i am playing on my computer in the hotel lobby because my mother told me to get out of the room...loving isn't it...oh well...at least i have some time to share with all the moggers a picture of the sunset...that i took...it may seem irrelevant to those who get to see it or for those who don't find these kinds things interesting...but since i live in oklahoma it is really pretty to me...... MAGICALLY, over a period of about 8 hours MOG has decided that I went from "Under The Radar" to worthy of the designation "Blazing"....now I just have to figure out what the hell that means!

Browsing through CD's at Borders, I stumbled upon a band called The Weepies. Never heard of them before but the CD case and the band name caught my eye so I decided to give them a shot and I am quite impressed. Pretty good stuff.
I have totally been neglecting mog, I should really try and make a better post. But alas I have to finish packing....I'm headed for Montreal early in the morning with some of my best friends :)

Look Ma! New music!
I've been mogging for a week now and I've really enjoyed it. Sure, that could be because I am a music whore and find my taste in music completely enthralling and think that everyone else will too, or it could be because I am a sucker for a new audience, but mostly it is because in wandering the mog-o-sphere I have been introduced to an almost limitless source of tunage that I would have otherwise not known about.
This makes me happy all the way... MORE
