Sigh. I honestly could post almost every Thin Lizzy record ever in this column or even create a "best band ever" just for them, but I just took the needle off of side B of my "Jailbreak" record and this is where my mind is at.

As previouslyreported, 'Thin Lizzy UK Tour '75' CD is set for release by MLP on September 8th. The 15-track album features the ‘classic’ Thin Lizzy lineup - Phil Lynott on vocals and bass guitar, Brian Downey on percussion, Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson playing dual lead guitar – performing at Derby College on November 21st, 1975.
The deluxe album includes a 20-page booklet of unseen photos, liner notes written by Brian Downey and extra material of the band jamming duri... MORE

Well, I’ve finally decided to have a well deserved break from my Troubleshooting business. Not going away anywhere special, just chillin’ out for a week and getting ready for a house/office move. Normally, when I have a break, I head out to Eire to stay with my brother and extended family for a while. There's been a lot of Mogbashing of the venerable Bono today...and on St. Patrick's Day that's just plain uncharitable. For Guinness-drinking atmosphere, here's one Irishman channelling another back in 1997. Hands up if you can actually hear the singer over the crowd.
