It's a little known secret that Three Dog Night were one of the funkiest bands in the land, especially on their 'album' tracks. Here's a prime example.
My daily commute consist of 15 minutes of the best 97.1 has to offer in Atlanta. They usually rotate in new (old) songs and then play them for a while. A recent play was a Three Dogs Night song that I couldn't credit to them. I know Joy to the World and even saw One Dog Night (Danny Hutton) in concert when I was little. When Mama Told Me (Not To Come) the high pitched energetic song brought out my falsetto car singing catastrophe (I'm a bass). Anyways, I've learn to... MORE
Lemme tell you people, lager in the afternoon is not always a good idea. Found myself thinking 'bout ever more cheerful choons, so here's another triumvirate that tickles our Tel.
Anyone share my shameful fondness for The Cufflinks...?
...those of you who know me would have already suspected that Mr Costello wouldn't be too far away...

When I got back home to SoCal later that summer, I begged my mom to take me down to White Front (K-Mart-ish departm... MORE
My number today is three. This post's prompting is three-fold. 1.) So, I'm fighting some kind of ailment and took cough medicine at 3 this morning (which still has me kinda loopy); 2.) my boyfriend and I resumed our task last night of watching season two of Lost (or rather catching up with the rest of the free world); and 3.) I was reading the responses to my Tori Amos post from the other day, and these three things combined led me to the question that I am about to post... MORE

I am in my college's silk line... you know, the flags that are spinning when the ridiculous marching band starts playing. and since Penn State made it to a bowl game, I get to go to Florida on the university's dime. I'm excited. also, since my iPod is currently a three hundred dollar paperweight, I need to make mix cds. I leave december twentyninth. and so, please leave your favorite song at the beep... MORE

Um...downloaded a new album by this band called "The Feeling" They are good, not the best band i've heard, but they are listenable and some of their songs are catchy and some are a tad to silly, even for me, but they are good.
