Oh my. How is it that I missed out on these guys for so long? My trusted mogs, these guys are balls out freakin' awesome rock. Just what the doctor ordered. When my band first started practicing one of the guitarists would put these guys on during the drive out to the Church of Rock, and couldn't believe I hadn't heard of them. Well, not really. You all are still here right? Yesterday was probably the most relaxing Saturday I've spent in years. I spent the whole day sitting at my PC listening to music and reading/posting MOG entries. Excellent! Rhythm guitarist Rune Rebellion has left Norway's Turbonegro, reports MIC. Apparently, Rune will not completely leave the organization. Self-proclaimed saviours of rock, Turbonegro, played an awesome show (as usual) last saturday, and I had a ticket! They started with three new songs from the new album 'Retox'. While the new songs were good, particularly the opening 'We're gonna drop the atom bomb', it was not before 'sell your body...' that people started to take off. The rest was a powerful parade of new and old hits like 'All My Friends Are Dead', 'Fuck The World' and 'Do You, Do You Dig Destruction'... MORE

'Latino lovers often do'
This is the first taste from the new Turbonegro album due to come out in june. Apparently they haven't decided on what label to release the album yet.
The sound is much like that of their last album, 'Party Animals'.
And they are playing live here in Trondheim next month. Whoopee!
