Who knew the man who "loves ya babe" recorded an album. Give the the tune a listen then spring it on a loved one when you think your going to get .... intimate. Get a chuckle then get busy. If I was single I think this song would make it into a mix tape for any girl I might be wooing at the moment. What a great karaoke tune. I could totally see Capt. Zapp Brannigan singing this one. Kojak Sings!
Wouldn't you know it ... Just when Mog seems to really pick up in activity I find my attention and energy is required elsewhere. So I apologize for not checking in on some excellent posts from my trusteds as of late ... you can bet I'm still lurking though... ... if you don't hear from me much ... I'm tripping up North

I was in the process of reviewing the XX Teens album. I was not a big fan of the album. Before I turn it off, a new track comes on. It's the the only track I own by a band called Y33BA. The track starts off with weird computer noises. I assume it's something random and bizarre that found its way on my library. Then the melody starts. And I'm in love. Y33BA, it turns out, is short for Your 33 Black Angels. The song is "Psycho On Your Side," off 2007's Lonely Street And... MORE
It never rains but it pours. It's always feast or famine. What I'm saying is, I'm on a roll. Here's yet another WIFLI Music Challenge. (Just a regular one, not a Mega! Challenge!) My music library is a lot like every bedroom I've ever lived in, and every desk I've ever worked at: cluttered, piled high with various and sundry items that I have collected and dispersed willy-nilly, higgled-piggledy, hither and yon in the space available. In the case of my iPod, it's l... MORE
Al is a Wellington based Bluesman, his first album "just Is" has some little jems. Al is a regular at the wellington Blues club and often gifts a song or two at many of the music clubs in the wider Wellington area, this is the first track off his first album, Al tells me he another nearly done. Im looking forward to hearing it, I know Al is very fussy about what he puts out and his skills as a live perfomer are excellent
I know...again with the +/-. But it's what I am consuming at the moment. This is one of those interesting little songs that plays in the background of my world...it trips very lightly into my ears with a beautiful electronic sound. His voice is soft, caressing, speaking sweet nothings. Then I am assulted with the crashing of instruments...demanding my attention.....what did he just say? Wait a second, rewind, replay...this song is more then I first thought. Oh....thi... MORE
Born in Northampton, Massachusetts, her mother was a piano teacher and her father was a construction worker. Her family soon relocated to Connecticut, where Kacy remained until graduating from high school. Her parent's passion for music influenced her from an early age. She started playing the guitar soon after seeing John Denver! in concert at age 5. She also began taking piano lessons around that time. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Mas... MORE
I do enjoy making lists. I even started a journal with nothing but lists a couple of years back. I haven't kept up with it lately, but, fueled by the excitement of my Top 5 list of lists for my mog-niversary, I have compiled for you moggers this fantastic enumeration to cap off 2008! Top 10 Favorite Things In General This Year: 10. Bonnaroo! The sights! The sounds! The smell of dirty hippies! Okay maybe not that last part. But getting to see a truckload of bands for abo... MORE
So things have been steady, right? No drama in the last few weeks. No unnecessary concerns to deal with. No significant dips in moods and vibes. But, man, why the hell can't I sleep properly?! Dammit. It's seriously getting to me, this lack of sleep. I've tried everything too. (Not all at the same time, of course.) Taking sleep-inducing drugs, falling into piss-drunk unconsciousness, drinking warm glasses of milk, watching pointless late-night TV, listening to lullaby... MORE
Okay, the music biopic we've all been waiting for (WENN via IMDB.com):

Twilight star Kristen Stewart has been tapped to play rock icon Joan Jett in a forthcoming biopic about the 1970s star. The 18-year-old actress will take on the role in new film The Runaways, depicting the all-girl band's rise and fall from the limelight. Jett, now 50, will serve as executive producer on the project. If Josn is producing, i wonder how well Kim Fow... MORE
