Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock made its Euro debut today at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival, and during the hour-long demonstration, Activision showed off "She Bangs the Drums," as made famous by The Stone Roses. "She Bangs the Drums" was the second UK single from the group's 1989 eponymous debut, which is considered by many to be among the most significant and influential records in British rock history.
"The Edinburgh Interactive Festival is all about the culture of gaming," said Zach Fountain, general manager of RedOctane Europe. "The Guitar Hero franchise has already established itself as part of mainstream pop culture, so it was a perfect place to unveil one of our UK-originated songs. The Guitar Hero road show moves from here to Leipzig, where we'll be announcing a whole new stack of European songs for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock."
