Amazing.
The set list favored Dig Lazurus Dig slightly. Highlights included a ripping Papa Won't Leave You Henry and Ship Song, a great three piece arrangement of Into Your Arms and God is in the House (with Nick caling out chords as he played, and asking Warren to play a solo on VERY short notice), Deanna, and Mercy Seat. He closed out the set with Hard on for Love from Your Funeral.. and then finsihed with a nasty, nasty version of Stagger Lee.
It's fun to see a show where the focus is on performance and not lightshows and costumes.
Again. Amazing.
There's this little known band named Radiohead that decided to cover another little known band (Portishead). Amazing.

This is my favorite song from 2008 so far. The animated video is perfect too. As much as I dig 3rd, I wish more of it was in this vein.
One of my favorite bands -- Bedhead -- turned into one of my other favorite bands -- The New Year. They're great live -- slow builds, soaring heights, crashing cymbals!
There not well enough known to warrant huge rooms -- so they'll likeley be playing small rooms -- which is even better!
