Maybe Meth should leave the stage diving for the experienced Rock crowds, these kids clearly weren't in the mood to be jumped on. To add insult to injury, the crowd members decide pick him up for crowd surfing after he hits the floor.

I got certain vibes of "Can You Feel It" by the Jackson 5 while watching this video. I've heard other people say he bit Ne-Yo's "Closer" video also... maybe Thicke took little elements from popular clips to create his own. In any event, I still love this song.

While it may not be a totally new concept, Feist appeared on none other than the Sesame Street recently. As usual, she changed up the lyrics to fit the show and the result was nothing short of great. Sometimes it pays to have a 2 year old who likes to watch cookie monster.

My cover of Happiness Is A Warm Gun from the White album. I did multiple layers of overdubs to get the additional vocals and harmonies to work.

I absolutely love Freemasons. They make top quality house music, if not the best in the industry. When they started becoming Beyonce's regular remixers I was amazed by what they did with her songs. Now they have remixed her sister Solange, but what? Not a house beat in sight. Instead they give us a psychedelic Motown monster for 2008. I enjoyed her debut, especially "Ain't No Way". My buddy who works at Letterman warned me about the Hold Steady's sketch on the late show a few days back. Yesterday when all the blogs made the rounds reporting on the Andy Kindler funny spot I scoured YouTube but to no avail. Only the actual performance was up. One thing that I noticed when I was a participant in the graffiti scene in San Francisco was an ongoing battle between the crews US and HR over the name Cake which had been claimed by a member from both crews. Both members are from Oakland, but while Cake 89 is a tattoo artist, the other Cake is the new Mars Volta drummer.
