Prowling around today I am elated to see the soon to be released debut album from Ida Maria, Fortress Round My Heart, is now available for pre-order on Amazon USA (this is new within the past few days, previously it was only listed on Amazon UK, who won't ship to US) and will ship, 7/29, the day after the UK release.
I'll pay it if need be, but the $26.99 is a bit of sticker shock for a Dutchman like me. So, since this is my first time craving an import new release to this degree in years, I'm asking you all if this is 'bout what one would expect to pay for such, or is there a better source?
Meanwhile, another killer song that will be on it; Queen of the World. I think it's about getting real drunk and the rush of feeling like The Queen of the World, and maybe getting laid (but don’t quote me on that). Anyway, if my tastes have anything to say about it this girl's gonna be big some day soon.
Maybe, I should start calling this a series, as I've posted One, Two, Three other Ida Maria posts recently (and I don't think she's in the Mog search data bank yet).

Thanks! $26.28 with the VAT (value added tax -sort of a sales tax with a european twist) is what check-out tells me, little better but for less than a buck think I'll stick with Amazon.
